Ensuring Transparency in Carbon Verifications
In order to ensure that your project is validated and/or verified correctly and with complete transparency, ESI has developed a number of guidelines and policies designed to protect and promote the third-party relationship as a validator/verifier.
ESI is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under ISO 14065:2007 for Greenhouse Gas Validation and Verification Bodies. The scope of accreditation includes ISO 14065:2007, ISO 14064-3:2006, verification/validation of assertions related to GHG emission reductions and removals at the project level for Land Use and Forestry (Group 3) and verification of assertions related to GHG emissions and removals at the organizational-level for General (Groups 1), Manufacturing (Group 2), Power Generation (Group 3), Mining and Mineral Production (Group 5), Metals (Group 6), Chemical Productions (Group 7), Oil and Gas (Group 8), and Waste (Group 9).
